Baking Tools I used
How to make Mason Jar Cake
Mason Jar Cake hack:
Bake your cake, biscuit, or whatever base you are using in a muffin tin!!!
The muffin tins are the exact size as the jam jars that are the perfect serving of cake! By baking them in the muffin tins, the cake will side into the jars – no problem! You also don’t have any waste since you will not be using a cookie cutter!
I found that 2 TBS of batter is the perfect amount to add to the muffin tins to create a cake layer that is not too big, and not too small.
I have used this muffin tin hack to make strawberry shortcake in a jar, and also traditional chocolate cake in a jar and it worked perfectly both times!
