This recipe is in my grandma’s collection as the “perfect pecan pie” and there is a good reason! It never last more than a day in my house because whenever I make it, my husband eats it right up! I was also even more excited to make this pie for this recipe because I was sent some Schermer’s Pecans! (not sponsored) Right away my husband noticed a difference in the quality of their pecans! Between my grandma’s pecan pie recipe and Schermer’s Pecans, this truly is the perfect pecan pie! This is a simple recipe to make, I have been intimidated by pecan pie in the past, but it is pretty much a one-big-bowl kind of recipe that anyone can master. This is the perfect recipe for Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, or even just Thursday night dinner!

Recipe Tips & Tricks
A big tip I love using is buying a store-bought pie crust if you are in a time crunch! Don’t get me wrong, homemade pie crusts are amazing, but I was pressed for time, and I had some storebought pie crust on hand it worked great! If you want an easy homemade pie crust, check out my recipe here!
This recipe is made for a 9 in pie pan! I have a 9-inch pyrex pan and also a 9.5-inch, and I am glad I reread the recipe! I am sure it wouldn’t be the end of the world, the pie would just be thinner than average.
