Pie can be an intimidating dessert to make, but my grandma’s Easy Blackberry Pie Recipe is a piece of cake (or pie) lol. It takes about 5 minutes to make (not including crust but you can easily buy store-bought crust) and you can be made from fresh or frozen berries, I like using frozen berries when blackberries are not in season since they are cheaper, just make sure to defrost them before baking! It is a tad runnier than a thick, store-bought pie, but that is because of the real berries! Nothing compares to a fresh blackberry pie, and you will be amazed at how easy this is to make!
It is also extremely versatile, I recently used this recipe, but swapped the Blackberries with Marionberries! It turned out amazing! So for this recipe, you can really use whatever berry you want! Just make sure the juice is drained!

This recipe is already very quick and easy to assemble, then bake, but if you want to make the process even quicker, use a store bought crust! They are just as delicious, but will take even more time off the total recipe if you are in a crunch!
If you choose to make your own crust, check out my Easy Pastry Crust recipe! It is very simple to make, and foolproof! Make sure you add enough water so that the crust holds together!
