This is one of my favorite recipes that my grandma has! I love how simple it is to whip up, and the flavor is amazing! The winter weather is coming in here in the PNW, and nothing tastes better than simple banana bread fresh out of the oven. It took me less than 10 minutes to make this recipe, meaning you’ll have delicious banana bread in under an hour. I love simple recipes like this that I can make on a whim when I am craving something fresh baked!

- If you want to add some extra “spice” I like adding 1 tsp of cinnamon to this recipe!
- Mini loaf pans make a great way to customize this recipe! I don’t know about you but I can’t stand nuts in my banana bread, but my husband loves them. I prefer chocolate chips, but those are not his favorite. I have 4 mini loaf pans so I can add nuts to some for him, and chocolate to some for me! These are the ones I use and they are perfect! I use 1 regular size loaf and 4 mini loaf pans.
How to make simple banana bread
- Cream butter
- Add sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla to creamed butter and mix well
- In a separate bowl mix the

- In a separate bowl, mash the bananas, then add them to the batter and mix until incorporated
- Bake in 2 full-size loaf pans that are well greased for 45 min- 1 hour at 375 ̊ or until the
the middle is no longer gooey. - The mini loaf pans bake for about 30 minutes and leave the regular size loaf pan to cook for the full amount of time.
Simple Banana Bread

Ingredients
- ½ cup Butter (room temperature)
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 cups Flour
- 3 Bananas (Mashed)
- Nuts (optional)
- Chocolate Chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- In a large bowl, cream the butter
- Add the sugar and eggs to the butter and mix well! Then add the vanilla and the milk
- Add the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, and baking soda, to the egg mixture and mix well!
- Fold in the bananas.
- Bake in 2 full size loaf pans that are well greased for 45 min- 1 hours at 375 ̊ or until the middle is no longer gooey.
Notes
If you are adding chocolate chips, I like to sprinkle them on the top of the batter after it is in the loaf pans!
