Simple Banana Bread

The winter weather is coming in here in the PNW, and nothing tastes better than simple banana bread fresh out of the oven.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 3 Bananas (Mashed)
  • Nuts (optional)
  • Chocolate Chips (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter
  • Add the sugar and eggs to the butter and mix well! Then add the vanilla and the milk
  • Add the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, and baking soda, to the egg mixture and mix well!
  • Fold in the bananas.
  • Bake in 2 full size loaf pans that are well greased for 45 min- 1 hours at 375 ̊ or until the middle is no longer gooey.

Notes

If you are adding chocolate chips, I like to sprinkle them on the top of the batter after it is in the loaf pans!
