Grandma's Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 ⅔ cups Flour
  • 1 ½ cups Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 ½ cups Milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Topping

  • cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbs Cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a bowl add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Make a well in the center.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg and vanilla until the egg is frothy. About 1-2 minutes. Then add the milk into the egg mixture.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the well of the flour mixture. Stir the batter just enough to bring it all together. Do not overmix.
  • Pour into a greased or parchment lined 9x13 pan.
  • Prepare the topping in a bowl, mixing brown sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle over the top!
  • Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
