1 ½cupssugar
1 ½cupsbrown sugarpacked
1Tbsvanilla
4eggs
1package semi sweet chocolate chips
1package mini semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375
Cream the shortening until fluffy, about 1-2 minutes. Add the sugar and brown sugar and mix well. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each obe. add in the vanilla.
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and mix, then gradually add the flour mixture into the shortening mixture
Add in choclate chips and mini chocolate chips.
Scoop onto baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes
Let cookies cool and set up for 3-5 minutes after taking them out of the oven, then cool on wire rack.
Notes
These cookies will be fluffy and soft every time, but only if you use shortening! The shortening is what helps the cookies keep their shape, and not fall flat! 8 minutes of bake time does not seem like a lot, but it is enough. The cookies might look underbaked but they aren't! Let them set up on the baking sheet after taking them out of the oven and they will be perfectly cooked, chewy, and delicious!
