Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Packed full of flavor, this not-too-sweet pound cake pairs perfectly with fresh berries and ice cream, or even enjoy it by itself!

Ingredients

  • 1 1 ⁄2 cups butter room temperature
  • 1 package 8oz cream cheese room
  • temperature
  • 2 1/3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs room temperature
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, beating
  • until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Gradually add the flour, folding in one cup at a time. Mix just until blended. Stir in vanilla.
  • Pour into greased and floured bundt pan Bake at 300 ̊ for 1 1⁄2 hour,

Notes

You can mix up a glaze with powdered sugar, vanilla, and add milk until it is the consistency you like!
