Sourdough Skillet Bread- Made with the goodness of tangy sourdough starter, this bread boasts a crispy crust and a soft, airy interior that's perfect for any occasion.

Cast-iron skillet
Non-metal bowl
Kitchen aid mixer
Ingredients
¼cupSourdough starter
1cupwater
1 ¾flour
4½cupsflour
1¾cupwater
2½tbssalt
Instructions
Day 1
Mix your sourdough starter, flour and water to a large bowl.
Mix in a stand mixer with the dough hook for 2-3 mins. Or knead on a lightly floured surface for 7-8 minutes. The dough will be soft and a little sticky
Place the dough back into an oiled bowl and let it rise again until doubled about 10-12 hours.
Day 2
Place into a cast-iron skillet that has been dusted with flour.
Once the loaf has risen bake in an oven at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes and cool on a rack for at least 1 hour.

TIP: if it is a warm day, place the bowl of dough in your warm car and it will rise beautifully)
